With so few people having intimate knowledge of the large cats; the foundation was created to bring like minded individuals together and to be an educational resource.  The S.A.B.R.E. Foundation needs your help to save these beautiful animals!

      Sabre, pictured above, was once one of the worlds' largest tigers. Upon Sabre's passing, tiger behaviorist Peter Renzo established this foundation to get a solid starting point to attaining understanding of the dynamics of these magnificent animals.  The foundation is committed to making as many contributions as possible to the currently limited store of knowledge about the Siberians and to helping re-establish tiger populations.
